On behalf of our international client in the finance sector, Swisslinx are looking for a dynamic and motivated IT professional with solid experience as a zOS Expert for a contract position in the heart of Zurich.
Start date: as soon as possible
It's a 6 month contract.
ZOS EXPERT, ENGLISH (CONTRACT, ZURICH)
In this interesting role you will be working with the Performance Management international team, which is responsible for the optimization of the Swiss banking and global core banking applications in the Mainframe environment. You will be involved in proactive project consulting, supporting the developer in tuning and performance, as well as participating in task forces.
In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following skills:
- 3-5 years Mainframe experience with knowledge of Application Performance Management;
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE IN THE Z/OS ENVIRONMENT and corresponding performance and consumption-oriented tools and products;
- VERY GOOD DB2 AND IMS EXPERTISE;
- In-depth understanding of the complex technical environment and architecture (applications, software and hardware);
- Fluency in English, German skills are an advantage
- Proactive and solution-oriented person who enjoys working in a team
