Your Availability: Medior Network Security Engineer

For one of our clients we are looking for a medior Network Security Engineer. 

START: ASAP

DURATION:12 months

LANGUAGE: Flemish

LOCATION: Brussels centre

THE ROLE

As member of the network and security team you will participate in both operational and project related tasks. With operational tasks you will provide 2nd or 3rd line support for incidents, problems, and reporting of issues. For project related tasks you will execute tasks for the implementation of network or security projects.

TYPICAL TASKS

- Design/Implementation of networks
- Prepare and deploy network infrastructure
- Review of network device configuration and architecture
- Network device vulnerability and assessment/remediation
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and security devices
- Enforcement of network and network security policies
- Ensure connectivity and bandwidth

QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent people skills and team player
- At least 3 years of network and security engineering experience
- Experience with various network tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Dutch verbal and writing skills

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE, THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING NETWORK:

- Layer 2 Spanning Tree (PVST, MST)
- Layer 3 IP Adressing
- BGP, OSPF
- WLAN
- Cisco WLC Security:
- Networking theory, TCP/IP
- Firewall L4/L7
- VPN: IPSec, SSL
- Forward Proxy

KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS (ONE OR MORE IS A A MUST):

- Cisco Catalyst
- Juniper MX
- Juniper Netscreen (ISG, SSG), SRC
- Palo Alto
- Bluecoat Forward Proxy
- F5 LTM
- Infoblox DNS/DHCP
