Year 1 Teacher

Simply Education are recruiting for a three form entry academy who are looking for a fully qualified, and experienced Year 1, Key Stage 1 (KS1) teacher to join their team in September 2014. It is a one year contract and the position is full time. Due to the position being full time, the successful teacher will be expected to carry out all marking and planning for the role.

The academy has a large amount of staff which means there is always plenty of support on hand. They are a close knit team, who enjoy working hard together and going the extra mile to raise standards within the school.

The successful candidate will need to be a fully qualified teacher with QTS. They will need to have previous teaching in Year 1, or at least in Key Stage 1 (KS1). They are looking for a teacher who has high standards for their pupils and who enjoys what they do.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP, BA Education, B.Ed, Cert Ed or equivalent
- You will ideally have experience teaching Key Stage 1
- Passion for teaching young children
- Possess a creative approach to teaching
- Strong behaviour management
