X4 Offshore Installation Managers

A Renewable Energy client is looking for x4 Offshore Installation Managers - Cable to work onshore for their offshore wind farm project. The client is looking for individuals who can start approx., 1st October 2014 to 30th September 2015. Work patterns: 10 - 12 hours per day, 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

Analyse and recommend offshore installation and logistics concepts
Optimise offshore installation and logistics concepts
Charter installation vessels inclusive support vessels and barges
Prepare ITT documents and Employers requirements - Technical requirements
Negotiate and recommend offshore installation contracts inclusive Marine Warranty Surveyor
Manage and coordinate offshore installation contracts and activities
Manage clients' rep within individual areas
Ensure contractors delivery and own review of method statements and risk assessments
Carry out HAZID/HAZOP for installation design and offshore installation operations
Analysis and optimise installation procedures prior to and during installation
Manage the Marine Warranty Surveyor
Coordinate and attend inspections of vessels provided to the projects
Proactively ensure that offshore installation works are carried out based on balanced contracts and that they are optimised regarding time, costs and QHSE
Establish and manage sub-project organisation/groups, inclusive division/delegation of responsibility for installation
Inform the Electrical Manager of all significant technical issues, in particular risks, and develop contingency plans

Other Skills:

Must be able to work independently within the first week on site and contribute constructively to the team work
Good coordination skills, ability to perform under challenging conditions and keep track of all relevant subprojects/tasks

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 - 10 years professional experience, 5 years experience within Offshore Cable Installation
Certification of skills (fire/safety/lifting)

The Consultant must bring his/her own mobile telephone.
Onshore Works: The client will provide office facilities available to the Consultant including office space.
Offshore Works: The client will provide project specific PPE (Special protection clothes)
