X2 Commissioning Engineers

A Renewable Energy client is looking for 2 Onshore Commissioning Engineers to work on their offshore wind farm project based in North West UK. Our client is looking for the individuals to be able to start this role approx. 1st July 2015 up until approx. 30th June 2017, 5 days a week 08:00 - 18:00hrs evening. Weekend work maybe required.

The individuals will be required to have a high level of these systems: LV, MV/HV, SCADA protection, Have a knowledge of installation techniques within all electrical areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in planning, implementation and documentation of the commissioning process in the assigned technical area
- Day-to-day management, coordination and documentation of the commissioning work within the defined technical area
- Ensure that the work is organised and done according to the commissioning manual, handbook, quality plan, test schedules and all site safety rules
- Ensure that the test are carried out and the commissioning work is documented according to rules, procedures and templates
- Contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication between all parties and that the process works effectively
- Any other activities, as directed by the Commission Manager or Coordinator
- Carry out test and commissioning on Employers deliveries

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience within the field of high voltage and low-voltage systems and O&M experience preferable
- Commissioning experience is preferred
- Preferable from the O&M organisation
- Knowledge about the specific technical area
- Good communications skills verbal and written

SPECIAL PROVISIONS:

The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software and mobile telephone
