Workstation Support Analyst

We have an exciting opening for a WORKSTATION SUPPORT ANALYST position with our progressive client in the Nashville, TN area.

This is a 12 MONTH CONTRACT position with an great opportunity for contract renewal. Excellent communication skills required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Monitors/updates dispatch system and works incoming tickets as assigned.
- Provides troubleshooting, technical support and development of end-user guidelines.
- Configures, installs, monitors, and maintains IT users' Workstation software and hardware.
- Ensures proper backing up of data from user workstations and that tools and equipment are licensed and approved by IS purchasing.
- Ensures proper configuration and adherence to security configurations and settings.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

Technical operations support experience (Required, 2 years)
Face to face customer service (focus) experience (Required)
Ability to follow a defined process step by step as needed to meet requirements and keep errors to a minimum (Required)
Ability to complete tasks within a defined window of time (Required)
Intermediate troubleshooting skills. (Required)
Ability to assist and train others at lower level of skill (Required)
Ability to solve problems independently (Required)
Ability to also work with other teams which may be needed to resolve issues (Required)
Provides feedback or input to Senior Analyst during course of work (Required)
Medium to large enterprise desktop support experience (Highly Desired)
Experience managing assets (Highly Desired)
Experience keeping desktops secure (desktop security) with techniques such as physical locks, disk encryption, maintaining patch levels, antivirus, etc. (Highly Desired)
