WINDOWS- WINTEL SYSTEM ENGINEER
Our client, an international IT company, is currently looking for experienced Windows - Wintel System Engineer for a contract role based in Zurich.
ROLE:
As a System Engineer for Windows applications you will support our clients internal projects integrating vendor software into our clients test and production environments, thereby ensuring their compliance to surrounding processes and standards.
Furthermore you will take over responsibilities as a Software Component Manager for applications, ensuring high data quality of involved inventories and configuration management systems.
SKILLS NEEDED:
. Excellent knowledge of latest Windows server and client releases and MS SQL
. Very good knowledge of network technologies and network protocols
. Competent knowledge of security architecture and technologies (eg PKI, SSL, Cryptography)
. Familiar with web technologies, protocols, standards
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Passion for technical writing
. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse and challenging workload effectively in a highly demanding environment
. Ability to work well in a collaborative team and independently with little supervision
. A very good command of English, German language skills are not mandatory but would be of advantage
