Windows/Vmware Administrator

We are looking for a Windows/VMWare Administrator in CA, details:

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 6 months+

Start: 2 weeks

- Strong working knowledge on VMWare ESXi (5.5) including troubleshooting, performance planning, capacity planning and continuity planning.
- Lead in the planning, design and implementation of new application projects and provide necessary support during application development life cycle.
- Ensure company standard server technologies are being followed
- Knowledge on Scripting & configuration tools like puppet is plus
- Good experience in desining ESX architectures.
- Performing routine tasks to improve the current setup.
- Provide advanced level expertise on IT issues relating to ESX, Windows Servers etc.
- Good understanding about Storage.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams
- Research and implement new technologies to improve the enterprise infrastructure.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

Position will require being available to perform maintenance during non-business hours and over weekends
