WINDOWS SYSTEMS SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Monrvia, CA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience working with the creation and support of Windows Images is a must.
- Experience working with Active Directory Group Policy and multiple AD domains is a must.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will serve as part of the team responsible for supporting and monitoring the Windows/Intel Infrastructure; which includes Windows 7 Workstations and Windows Servers using HP branded hardware and Microsoft's Active Directory technology.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will be assigned and become responsible for problems or conditions that exist in the C-IV Enterprise that are indicated by Monitoring Systems or customer initiated requests. They will take 1st level actions to determine the nature of and resolve the problem/issue, document it in the CA Service Desk System Ticketing system.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will be responsible for understanding and operating the tools used to monitor, update and backup the Windows/Intel based environment resources (ie Active Directory, McAfee, Intel VPro, HP Systems Insight Manager, EMC Avamar, SCCM and various utilities/scripts, etc.)
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will work with other Windows/Intel Administrators on the creation and support of multiple Windows 7 images used in the enterprise.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will work with the Operations Team Leads and other Operations Administrators on the implementation of any planned changes or upgrades to the Windows 7 Desktop, Active Directory and Windows 2008/2012 server devices.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will monitor and verify that appropriate virus signature patterns and Microsoft patches are properly distributed.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will provide feedback and help tune system operational and support procedures (SOSP) for the Client Environment.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will be required to execute any daily operational, troubleshooting and support procedures required to maintain the environment.
- The Windows/Intel Systems Administrator will execute daily and weekly tasks to report on Operational parameters.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Three to five (3-5) years of technical experience and a Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, two (2) additional years of relevant professional experience, Five to seven (5-7) years in total.
- Experience working with the creation and support of Windows Images is a must.
- Experience working with Active Directory Group Policy and multiple AD domains is a must.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2008/2012 is required.
- A flexible working schedule is required (rotated on-call schedule - 24x7, some weekend work, various shift work.)
- Candidate must work onsite in Monrovia, CA. No remote work possible.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- A Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) Certification is desired.
- Experience working in a Data Center NOC environment (27x7) is preferred.
- Knowledge of DHCP, CA Unicenter, Linux, Solaris, DNS, Send-mail is desirable.
