For our client in the banking sector in Frankfurt, we are currently hiring an Windows System expert (m/f) - Directory Servicescontribute to the deployment of services in production by advising on the production impact of planned changes, assisting Data Centre Operations in the roll-out and post implementation; deploy, configure systems and environments, to integrate services according to the system design and network policies (zoning concept); document installation and operational procedures for further deployments in Data Centre Operations; review technical documentation related to system integration; ensure required resource requirements are understood and timely communicated to respective team leaders; liaise with technical teams for the acceptance and handover of service in production; support end-users during pilot phase for introduction of new services.
* Proactively identify and communicate improvements to services, technologies and processes.
* Plan, prepare and document of maintenance activities (such as hardware firmware, and
* software upgrades).
* Provide knowledge transfer to other colleagues in the Data Centre section and handover routine tasks.
* Support design and preparation of recovery and contingency exercises to ensure system
recovery in accordance with the predefined plans and documentation.
* Experience in evaluating and executing changes and service requests according to provided
operating procedures while maintaining agreed service levels and deadlines.

Your profile:
* Well-proven experience in mixed operating system and database environments, including Windows, ESX, Unix, Linux, MS SQL, Oracle, managing technical service transition, creation and maintenance of related documentation on MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Well-proven experience working with ITIL processes, particularly change, incident and problem management.
* Well-proven experience in Antivirus software deployments and upgrades.
* Well-proven experience on the installation, configuration and maintenance of Active Directorys features and options for Directory Services, as well as experience in migration and upgrades between different versions: Active Directory (2008 R2/2012 R2) installation, administration and troubleshooting; scripting in Powershell, Group Policy Object modelling, permission delegation, DNS, trust relationships.
* Relevant experience on Windows Server platform for virtual and physical environments for
installation, administration and troubleshooting; including central management, monitoring,
identifying any need for preventive or remedial maintenance actions.
* Working experience in international environments will be considered a very valuable asset.
