WINDOWS SYSTEM ENGINEER
Location: Brussels
Daily rate: €400-430
Duration: 1 year
Languages: French or Dutch = First Language (English is added value)
Our client, active in the energy sector, is currently looking for a Windows System Engineer for a one-year project for their business in Brussels.
The Windows System Engineer we are looking for will analyse and find solutions of technical problems and shortcomings. He or she will be implementing and managing the systems. The freelancer will also establish the maintenance procedures of the infrastructure of which he/she are responsible. Therefore, the candidate will contribute actively in the projects trusted to the group. Finally, he or she will be formulating propositions him-/herself in view of optimal functioning of the systems.
As you are the freelancer we are looking for, you have at least 5 years of experience as Windows System Engineer. To meet the requirements, you have extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2003-2008, particularly with AD, DHCP, DNS and IIS. You also have good Scripting skills in VB and Powershell. Furthermore, you have good experience in Back Office products of Microsoft such as Exchange 2010, SQL Server 2008 R2 and SQL Reporting Server. For this project, it would be considered an asset to have some knowledge of VMware vSphere, Symantec-Altiris SMS and Symantec Enterprise Vault. Being the freelancer we are looking for, you are a real team player with good communication skills in English.
