Windows System Administrator

A top financial firm in Jersey City is looking for a Windows System Administrator to join their team.

This person will be responsible for the day to day implementation of the windows server environment globally. He or she will also handle 2nd level support issues escalated from our level 1 team.

Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills will be needed.

Some of the other responsibilities include, providing level 2 support to the global windows server platform. Managing critical Incident bridges when production services are impacted. Also key is having a strong technical background in Windows Operating Systems, Clustering, Printing, File Management, Storage configurations, TSM Backup client troubleshooting, Rightfax Administration, basic networking and basic database support.

Skills Required:
- Windows 2003/2008 administration
- Windows clustering
- Data security configuration
- Performance tuning and analysis
- Fault finding

Work Schedule: 8:00AM - 6:00PM

This will be a 6+ month contract that they will be looking to extend or turn full time.

The rate will be based on experience.
