ABOUT THE POSITION

GTN Technical Staffing is looking for a Windows Server Engineer Generalists to join a Fortune 500 company on a 3M C2H basis. These roles will support and "keep the lights on" for a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment consisting of 1000+ Servers. The Windows Server Engineer Generalists will join a team of system administrators in charge of monitoring the health of the Windows Server environment.

We're looking for Windows Server Engineer Generalists with demonstrated experience with Microsoft technologies such as: Hyper-V (4 years), SQL Server, SCOM, Remote Desktop Services, IIS, DNS, Active Directory, Exchange and PowerShell Scripting.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the following skill sets

- Windows Server 2003/2008 R2 Administration ( 4 Years)/Support - Minimum 50+ Servers (500+)
- Focused on 2012 R2
- Excellent English/Communication Skills

2+ years of hands-on experience WITH AT LEAST 3 OF THE FOLLOWING 5 TECHNICAL SKILLS

- VMware ESXi5 -OR- Hyper-V 2008 R2/2012 (in Enterprise-Level Environment)
- Building VMware ESXi5/Hyper-V in Production Environment
- Production Builds/Scripting
- Server Commissioning/Maintenance
- Advanced Troubleshooting
- Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010 Administration - 1000+ User Environment (No trouble, simple)
- Setting Up Mailboxes/Mailbox Restorations
- Disaster Recovery/Redundant Environment - Setup/Configuration/Administration (Worked with Dis Recovery w IBM 3 different Disaster Recovery)
- Scripting Languages - PowerShell (3- 4 years)
- Active Directory ( AD ) - Group Policies/Certificate Services/Security (12 years)
- Web Security - Firewalls/Web Filtering/Internet Information Services ( IIS ) (5+years)
- SCCM - MS System Center Configuration Manager

PREFERRED(but not required)

- Windows Server 2012 - Administration/Support
- Fibre Channel Fabrics/Storage Networks/Arrays - EMC SAN
- Clariion Administration/Troubleshooting/Replication
