Windows Mobile Developer

For our client in Brussels we are looking for a Windows phone developer

As a Windows phone developer you will:
-Work together with a team of iOS/Android/Windows developers in a collaborative and communicative manner
-Interact with end-customers to understand their product vision, priorities and requirements and help them develop the roadmap for the product
-Feel comfortable creating libraries that can be reused by other developers/teams
-Have an extensive knowledge on HTTP/JSON/REST
- 'The pragmatic programmers' is your bible, refactoring your way of life
-Thinks about source control and automated build/deployment strategies in advance
-Have proven experience in developing web and mobile applications
-Bring a pro-active, can-do attitude, as you are comfortable working in a flexible environment with short deadlines
-Be a creative thinker, able to contribute to the analysis of tasks and requirements, as well as to the subsequent solution design
-Strong OO design, design patterns and programming skills in C#
-Expert knowledge using the .NET Framework (C#), XAML, asynchronous programming, WinRT, Windows Phone, Silverlight
-Experience on web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
-Good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
-Experience using social media APIs
-Using version control (eg SVN, GIT, Team Foundation Server)
-Excellent debugging and optimisation skills

In addition, it would be an advantage if you would also have:
-Experience working with Agile/iterative development practices, including continuous integration, test-driven development, refactoring and pair programming
-Experience ng Microsoft Expression Studio (esp. Expression Blend, Expression Design)
-Cross platform development experience on other mobile/Embedded runtime platforms such as iOS, Linux and Android
-Extensive interest in mobile apps and gadgets
-Experience in porting/optimizing applications to mobile platforms and environments

We are seeking a motivated colleague meeting the above description to join us Full time in our fast-moving mobile apps projects. Applicants should be able to work in an English-speaking environment. Knowledge of French and Dutch is a plus, but not required.
