Windows Infrastructure Senior Engineer (f/m)
Reference number: 321544
Starting date: 1st of March 2017
Length of the contract: 18 months with possibility of extension

Task description:
* Participate in the design and testing of the standard OS releases based on Microsoft Windows Server versions for physical and virtual platforms
* Configuration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, other orchestration and automation technologies for the deployment of new instances based on new standard OS releases and for the upgrade of existing running instances to the latest standards, and handover of tools and procedures to the System Operations Team
* Coordination of the monthly Windows Server vulnerability patching activities

Your profile:
* Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, information system security, or related disciplines
* Experience in the design and implementation of complex IT management infrastructures for the automated administration of Windows server instances during their lifecycle (deployment, continued compliance, retirement)
* Experience with the design and implementation of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
* Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012 including Powershell scripting
* Confidence with Microsoft Security Baseline Analyser and ideally with Nessus Vulnerability Scanner
* Experience with HP and possibly Cisco server hardware and related management tools
* Experience with VMware vSphere 5.1 and higher
* Experience working in a mature IT environment with established IT Service Management processes
* A good command of English with proven drafting ability
* Working experience in an international organisation
