Windows and Citrix Engineer

A great opportunity has arisen in a leading IT Consultancy company for a Windows and Citrix Engineer based in Prague, Czech Republic. As a Windows and Citrix Engineer your will be developing strategic roadmaps and global standards for Windows and Citrix platforms in one of their top accounts.

As a Windows and Citrix Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:
- Engineer solutions for projects on the Windows and Citrix platforms.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies on the Windows and Citrix platforms.
- Participate in discussions with stakeholders over Windows and Citrix solutions.
- Provide 3rd level support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Provide Citrix advice and direction to the Operations team, divisional project teams, and management
- Support problem escalation and remediation for the Windows and Citrix platforms.

Your skills & Experience are:
- 5-7 years relevant I/T Technical Experience in Microsoft Windows and Citrix related Infrastructure:

o Windows Server Operating System versions (2003/2008/2012)
o Citrix MPS 4.0, XenApp 5/6, XenDesktop 7.6, NetScaler
o Physical and Virtual server platforms
o Networking components, application installation, server OS configuration, group policy, testing and troubleshooting
o Experience with Cloud Technologies (Amazon, Azure, etc.)
- Experience designing, implementing and supporting of global multi-farm in a highly available environment
- Experience performing root cause analysis on application functionality and server performance problems s
- Experience with ITIL, Remedy, CMDB, Change Control process
