A leading IT consultancy has just won a new project with a leading Telecoms brand and are actively seeking TWO Windows Administrator to join their team based in Helsinki, Finland.

The focus of the role is to carry out DC transformation and build activities therefore need candidates who have done similar work in their current/past role.

Ideal experience: Minimum of 5 years. in Administration/Support

Responsibility
* Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows
* Design and configure the High Availability environment using MSCS or other cluster solutions with knowledge/experience on Storage Devices (SAN, NAS, DAS)
* Installation and Configuration of at least one backup tool - BackupExec/Netbackup/Arcserve
* MS Patch administration (planning and deployment)
* Printer Installation, configuration and Administration
* Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
* Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance
* Fine tune the system for optimal performance
* Understanding of Storage, Network, Security and core infrastructure technologies and integration with Windows environment
* Installation, configuration and troubleshooting task on windows cluster environment
* Windows Security hardening and baseline
* Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue
* Perform root cause analysis
* Troubleshooting technical issues
* Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration
* Responsible for building/maintaining a test environment
* Responsible for strategizing a backup plan and test plan for failure scenario
* Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction
* Data centre consolidation and transformation experience
* Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)

Skills
* MCSE/MCSA
* Worked on Production systems
* Datacenter understanding
* Global exposure in large environments would be preferred
* Onsite transition experience would be an added advantage
* Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
* Must be an expert in base OS and atleast one/some of the following with basic knowledge/awareness of some of the others

File and Print Services
Backup
Exchange
Windows Clustering
Monitoring and Management tools like HPOVO, SIM (System Insight Manager), IBM Director, BMC Patrol, NetIQ, etc.
