JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Windows 10 End User Virtualization Specialist to:

- Support the integration of End User and Application requirements into the Standard Microsoft Windows 10 SAC based Workplace.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Windows Operating System Architecture including:
- Windows Registry
- Group Policy
- User Profiles
- End User Virtualisation ie AppSense, RES, vWorkspace, UEV
- Citrix XenDesktop Polices, Profile Management
- Support application owners in making internally developed and vendor supplied applications available on the Standard Workplace.

APPLICATION DELIVERY EXPERIENCE, SUCH AS:

- SCCM Packages and Task Sequence development
- Performing and troubleshooting App-V Package Sequencing
- Performing and troubleshooting MSI Package creation and installation

The role involves analysing and solving findings through Functional Technical Test, User Acceptance Test of the workplace, applications and production delivery problems in an international banking environment.

TECH & FUNC SKILLS

Experience in analysing and solving issues in a Workplace environment, especially with Win32 applications.

- Windows 10 Operating System Architecture
- Office 2016 and O365 Application Suite (ClickToRun and MSI)
- System Centre Configuration Manager CB
- Ivanti AppSense
- Solid understanding of Networking and TCP/IP Fundamentals

Also very important is the ability to MANAGE CHANGES AND UPDATES TO DOCUMENTATION (IN ENGLISH) FOR BOTH HIGH LEVEL SOLUTIONS AND LOW LEVEL DETAILED DESIGN, INCLUDING DOCUMENTING SECURITY AND ACCESS CONTROLS.

Able to discuss issues and actions with other parties in high technical detail with Industry Experts, Firewall/network teams and to non-technical audiences (end users, process coordinators, etc.)
