An excellent opportunity for a WebSphere MQ Specialist to join a large international client in Amsterdam, The Netherland on a minimum 6 month contract.
The WebSphere MQ Specialist is an individual with extensive product knowledge of MQ (FTE is additional). The candidate is expected to plan, install and configure the product, implement applications, set up distributed queuing, enable appropriate security, administer and operate a queue manager network, enforce organizational and operational standards, perform basic problem determination and implement clustering and publish/subscribe topologies
Extensive description of the required skills
. Working knowledge of WebSphere MQ, MQ clustering (File Transfer Systems is additional)
. Basic knowledge of supported operating systems (eg, Unix, Linux on Intel, Linux on zSeries, z/OS, Windows)
. Good understanding of messaging concepts as they relate to WebSphere MQ
Work experience needed
. Min 5 years working with MQ (version 7.5 pre)
. Experience with MQ FTE is additional
. Experience of above within a project environment (Engineer)
Fluent Dutch and English is Essential.
