WEBSPHERE COMMERCE TECHNICAL LEAD/MILANO, ITALY/12 MONTH CONTRACT (EXTENDABLE)/€400 PER DAY/€8000 PER MONTH
A global IT services company is seeking a Technical Lead experience in WebSphere Commerce to be based onsite with their premium sportswear brand customer in Milano. This is a long term project with an initial 12 month contract.
- Participates in requirement gathering and design sessions and creates necessary requirement artifacts base on the guidelines
- Writes application code to meet expected quality standards by conforming to the steps of doneness defined by the project.
- Identifies and creates unit test cases and writes code to validate those test cases
- Participates in technical walkthroughs/code reviews of other team member's components, test plans and results and help them with gaps
- Works with Architect to create mid-level and low level plans for the modules they own or are working on Identifiesdevelopment approaches; requirements capturing and gap analysis for both custom developments and COTS packages is essential.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIRED:
- Strong hands-on experience with WebSphere Commerce Server (WCS 7.6 and above) & Java J2EE development
- Complete understanding of online E-commerce concepts (ie shop, browse, order, B2B/B2C etc.)
- Knowledge of all sub-system of WCS
- Complete knowledge of one end to end integration with a 3rd party provider
- In-depth understanding of WCS programming model (ie BOD, command, store-jsp, view etc.)
- Knowledge of SOLR search engine
- Good understanding of various business Models ie B2B, B2C
- Should have good understanding of JSON/DOJO (Web 2.0 store front) implementation.
- Should be able to break down problem into logical chunks clearly (implementation level design) and have developed some of these
- Should independently code complex functionality ensuring completeness
- Should be able to come up with boundary conditions, validations and assumptions for the problem
- Should be able to explain his/her current project architecture and how everything fits together
- Should be able to plan and track for his/her own piece of work
- Should have a good understanding of Development Processes
- Desirable to have past experience in Retail space
