Websphere Application Support- Contract

Our client currently requires the expertise of a Middleware Application Support Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Dublin city centre.
You will be part of the Application Maintenance and Support service that provide 'end-to-end' solution support for the integration of IT and Telecoms Infrastructure and Application components for the production running of server-based applications to meet the objectives and service expectations of the business

This job requires strong methodical structured approach in terms of completing pre reqs for
installation, configuration, upgrade planning and implementation of systems

* Knowledge of Middleware Application Server software including WebSphere/Webloglic, IIS, .NET
* Software implementation, troubleshooting and management skills
* Understanding of database installations and components including Oracle and SQLServer

This customer will particularly seek to find candidates with the evidence of the following

* 3rd Party Application Management -(Application and Middleware)
* Pre Reqs assessment and Pre Req completion of System Installation Requirements
* Installation, configuration, upgrade planning and implementation of systems
* Proactive Troubleshooting, Maintenance and Support
* Troubleshooting of Functional Interfaces into Systems
* Business Continuity - Site Switches - IT Disaster Recovery site Switches for business critical applications
* Scripting (Powershell)
