WebSphere Application Server Specialist for a long term opportunity in a State Of The Art Environment. Our client, a leading organisation within its field, is urgently seeking an experienced WebSphere Application Server Specialist. You will need to have a proven background in WebSphere Application Server maintenance and implementation and a basic knowledge about security. Our client seeks an individual who can install, support, maintain and do Scripting on WebSphere application Servers in a Mainframe enviorment. The WebSphere Application Server Support Specialist looks after all aspects concerning incidents & problem solving, and provides support for changes in the WebSphere environment. You will regularly be the specialist in a project team, on new installations, software refreshments, migrations and modifications.

- 5 years experience working in a large IT environment
- Foundational Skills teamwork, communication, adherence to company standards and procedures
- Knowledge of Java Enterprise Edition 6
- Knowledge of web application architecture and deployments
- Knowledge of utilization of the command line interface and Jython/Jacl
- Experience performing installation, configuration and optimization tasks to ensure a smooth, reliable, secure and efficient operation of a WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment and Liberty Profile environment.

Education requirement

- IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment V8.5.5 and Liberty Profile
