*This is a new request to fulfil the role of "website content editor" needed at short term as the team is expanding to assist with rolling out the latest in web technologies, IBM WCM (starting development for the 6 beta sites for IBM WCM in mid-November and need the resources to build them out).

*This position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby the worker follows generally defined procedures.

*Without this additional resource, rolling out the new platform will slow or stop due to the inability to complete the beta sites that are ready for resources to implement.

*The Content Editor will assist with rolling out the latest in web technologies, IBM Web Content Manager. This position is a support role requiring more work direction whereby the worker follows generally defined procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Accept responsibility for project assignments and manage them through timely completion.

2. Participate with the team in devising project timelines and revising design specifications.

3. Create projects, edit content and publish website updates using the IBM Web Content Manager tool.

4. Perform quality assurance checks and ensure work adheres to standards.

5. Communicate status to project lead and client stakeholders both clearly and proactively to manage project delivery and content expectations.

6. Work efficiently with a large team of content editors, component developers and architects.

7. Maintain documentation as required.

Basic Qualifications

. Proven track record of delivering results and meeting deadlines

. Experienced computing for business (using email, word processing, Internet search software)

. Pays attention to detail and quality

. Self-starter that takes initiative to go above and beyond

. Solid oral and written communication skills

. Fast typing skills

. Strong work ethic

. High aptitude for advance computer software

. Creative mind

. Experience with design/presentation software (ie Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc)

. Experience technical writing, designing or proofreading

. Experience following process using an application for workflow

. Eye for good design/layout
