KEY SKILLS & BACKGROUND

- You will have knowledge of WebSphere MQ, versions 5.0, 6.0 and 7.0. Version 8.0 will be learned on the job if you have no exposure already
- Experience administrating and supporting MQ across UNIX and Windows environments
- Configured the Configuration Manager, Message Repository and MQSI Broker Knowledge of MQ FTE a big plus
- Confident communicating between the business and the technical teams.
- You will have experience migrating and upgrading MQ (all versions considered)
- You will have worked within financial organisation, preferably wholesale banks.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- You will have 5 years+ of hands on experience with WebSphere MQ, working as part of a supportive WebSphere MQ environment
- You will be moving applications into the cloud which will be another string to your bow, if you have not had exposure doing this type of work before
- Interact with client Technical/Architecture teams on the design and implementation aspects for integration within the project
- You will gain continuous support from our client and have progression sessions throughout your contract to ensure that you are achieving goals set between you and the client
- You will be part of a team that is very interactive and multi-cultural
