Weblogic Support Specialist

WEBLOGIC APPLICATION SUPPORT SPECIALIST

6 month contract with extensive travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

A client of ours in the Defence and Aerospace industry is currently recruiting for a Weblogic Application Support Specialist to join them on an initial 6 month contract.

The ideal candidate will poses the following skills and experience

- Application deployment within Oracle WebLogic fusion Middleware
- In-depth knowledge of the WebLogic architecture
- Oracle Database Administration and performance tuning
- Experience of data archiving, backup and retrieval from Oracle DB Servers
- Working understanding of PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience of using Service Bus technology for application data integration
- Monitoring critical services on Oracle DB and Weblogic systems
- Providing 3rd/4th line support for business critical applications
- Data reporting from Oracle DB Servers
- Experience of operating within an ITIL environment
- Can operate effectively within a team
- Prepared to work unsociable hours for application support at critical times

Desirable skills and experience include:

- Experience of deploying and supporting Jasper Reporting server
- Working knowledge of Mule Soft deployed as a data Service Bus
- Able to transfer skills and knowledge to more junior members of the team
