Web Tech Support Engineer

You will assist with triaging a wide range of technical issues submitted from independent developers to large, in-house information technology organizations that are using and testing not-yet-released Internet technologies. Candidates should be familiar with C/C++, web browsers, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Triage bugs from a large, web based bug data base on the Back End
- Identify and document support issues
- Use support tools to triage "fix" request
- Use appropriate communication skills to provide customer feedback
- Develop tools and processes as needed
- Read, understand source code for HTML webpages that use a combination of CSS, JavaScript and other web technologies

QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of software development experience
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Security Zones
- Good understanding of network communications (TCP/IP, etc.)
- Good understanding of HTTP
- Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of tools available for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of C/C++
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following: Ajax, VB, VB.NET, or C#, Ajax, jQuery
- Proficiency with HTML, HTML5, DHTML, and Java and Scripting languages
- Familiarity with Visual Studio.NET
- Familiarity with COM
- Good understanding of IE architecture
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent problem solving abilities
- Self-motivated and a quick learner

This contract position is expected to be 12 months in duration.
