Web Services (WS-*) Institutions in Brussels

This profile will be involved in the design and development of business solutions using:

- J2EE technologies (compulsory experience)
- Web-services (compulsory experience), in particular WS-* specifications for messaging packaging, transport, security and business non-repudiation (an asset)
- The "AS4: Secure B2B Document Exchange Using Web Services", a specification developed by a subcommittee of the OASIS ebXML Messaging Services Technical Committee
- RDBMS

in the framework of eDelivery's Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

This profile will be responsible for:

- Participation to the complete development life-cycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operation, support, documentation and change management) of different components of the eDelivery DSI.
- Adoption of a test driven approach with the delivery of unit tests, integration tests, performance tests and the setup of a continuous integration platform.
- Delivery of technical documentation and software release notes.
- Compliance with the standard way of working supported by a central documentation wiki (CITnet Confluence), a project follow-up web application (CITnet Jira) and a common version control system (CITnet Subversion and/or Git).
- Involvement in security studies, security assessments and other specific security matters related to eDelivery.
- Review of Information systems infrastructure/ solution architectures
- Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with the integration of eDelivery in large EU-wide systems.

3. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

The expertise required is technical:
- Top expertise of Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
- Excellent knowledge and significant working experience in the deployment of large systems using web-services (SOAP, REST) and in particular WS-* specifications
- Excellent knowledge of web security related to the deployment of SOA (WS-Trust and SSL/TLS, PKI)
- Experience with web technologies other than Java, such as ColdFusion and PHP is an asset
- Experience with Agile development technologies such as Scrum
