Web Producer, Project Manager

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a WEB PRODUCER/PROJECT MANAGER (PM) to join our client in Seattle, WA.

Job Overview:
Our client is an award winning, privately held creative agency that is big enough to work with top brands, and yet small enough to make a big impact, and encourage and reward innovative design. In this role, Web Producers provide the interface between clients and internal resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget and that the work meets clients' expectations. Web Producers work closely with the development and creative teams to explore ongoing technical capabilities and ensure project success. Individuals within this role provide assistance to the team on interactive projects. Web Producers must understand the creative process and support collaboration across all departments. The team is mostly in house, with direct access to upper level management, and everybody is encouraged to contribute ideas. In addition, our client encourages a work- life balance, and there is very little travel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participates in negotiating and developing proposals and change orders that outline project requirements and deliverables.
- Develops project schedules to ensure that all critical tasks are identified and completed on a timely basis.
- Initiates and coordinates each phase and task according to schedule.
- Educates clients on project process, schedule, and scope.
- Manages budget, timeline, and resource utilization.
- Procures all necessary equipment, services, and materials when needed for project success.
- Attends weekly traffic meetings to secure necessary resources.
- Facilitates communication with clients, team members, suppliers, and management on project progress.
- Facilitates regular status calls with clients, and produces regular client-facing status reports.
- Monitors compliance with account or client-specific standards and regulations.
- Follows up to ensure client satisfaction and internal project success.
- Performs administrative duties related to a project as needed, including general accounting responsibilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Typically requires a four-year degree with marketing, sales, or business orientation as well as three to five (3 to five) years' related experience within technology and project management in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Advanced project management skills are required.
- Excellent communication skills required for moving projects through the organization and troubleshooting project obstacles.
- Proven experience running successful internal and client-facing meetings during all phases of a project.
- Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing practices, time management, budget monitoring, and the entire life cycle of a web project - preferably on an agency level.
- Ability to delegate tasks to the internal team and remain informed of progress.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, providers, the internal team, management, and other project contacts.
- Knowledge of the trends and issues in a specific industry.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.
- A personality that is driven, authoritative, assertive and calm under pressure.
- Technical understanding of industry-standard, interactive, web based search technologies.
