The main responsibilities of the post are:
- Build and configure new server platforms and the automated tooling to do so
- Manage the operation of Linux Servers and delivery of complex web application stacks
- Test, debug and troubleshoot platform level problems
- Support development teams with configuring applications for deployment
- Installation and management of open source monitoring tools
- Configuration of management tools like Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Deployment and configuration of machines in a Cloud environment
- Adherence to application deployment strategies and continuous integration
MUST HAVES:
- Functions and Skills & Experience
- Continuous Integration Tool - Jenkins, TCPIP and Puppet
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- DB Skills - Postgress, Mongo and MSQL
- Proven track record of working with cloud computing to include VCloud
