Web Methods Developer (Contract)

Responsible for developing and coding of Integration / Web Services for key enterprise projects using Java /webMethods Integration Server within a webMethods development team. Dev work includes build systems critical to the business strategy/changes of existing applications. Candidate must follow defined standards, tech guidance and implement best Practices across SDLC.

Responsibilities: Lead SDLC for app enhancements/production systems of various size/complexity. Participate on key integration projects. Develop Integration applications as per the specifications using webMethods software, including EDI formats. Work with business and IT stakeholders to review and elaborate on requirements Develop Integration applications as per the specifications using JAVA core technologies. Unit test your code using SDLC best practices. Prepare code and test artefacts using methodologies required (Test Driven Development, Agile, Waterfall etc.) Develop programming specifications/integration testing. Implement/define the coding standards for WebMethods development. Coordinate delivery of quality artifacts across multiple projects. Complete estimates and work plans for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks.Requirements: 5 years of direct experience working with Enterprise Application Integration, Message oriented Middleware or Service Oriented Architecture patterns and applications. 3 or more years direct experience designing and developing using webMethods v8.0 or 8.2 or 9.0 (Integration Server, Broker, MWS, Centrasite, Task Engine, Process Engine, Optimise, Deployer, Designer, Web services, REST, XML, XSD, JDBC and MQ adapters). 2 years JAVA core technologies. Developing / implementing SOAP / REST Web Services. Creation of XML schemas and mapping. Developing solutions utilising Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and solid understanding of SOA lifecycle. Communicating via MQ Series or JMS queues/ Applying WSDL approach, SQL, PL/SQL, or (SQL,DB2,Oracle)
