Software Engineer - Carefusion - Yorba Linda12 months contract to hire We are looking for a C#/.NET developer with strong Web development/ASP.NET MVC/JavaScript/HTML skills. We are building a new web application that utilizes html and javascript on the client to deliver a rich experience to the user. We are seeking strong individuals who can contribute day 1 to the team! Software Engineering is responsible for developing, enhancing, and sustaining software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of software engineering practices and techniques, technology trends, and working knowledge of domain expertise. Defines, analyzes and interprets needs and requirements for a single component. Translates the results of analysis into design by Designing solutions to address multiple requirements. Implements complex software solutions. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own job family. Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Works independently with minimal guidance. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. Qualifications: * 5+ years C# experience * Net MVC experience * must have experience building web apps understand client side controls using jQuery and Javascript know how to do partial page updates * Razor * HTML - must know how to lay out a page and create UI. * CSS - must be able to style a page * MS SQL - must be able to dig in to a database and learn it. * Agile development - must understand and practice Agile methodologies * Good communication skills (read, write, speak English) * Person must be in the office. * Source control - understand how to use it: check in, diff, merge. Bonus: * LINQ to SQL * Javascript graphing libraries * Design Patterns
