... WEB DEVELOPER for a 2 year project in Zurich, Switzerland.
Overview:
An alternative investments fund manager located in Zurich is further building out the functionalities of its trading and analytics IT platform. To support the development team, the fund manager is looking for a motivated senior .Web developer with extensive in-house development experience of trading applications.
Key responsibilities:
- Working independently and as part of a small team in an agile environment, under the guidance of the tech lead
- Developing web components in a prototyping environment.
- Enhancing existing functionalities and designing/implementing new features following coding best practices
- Taking part in extending the testing framework and maintaining/improving unit tests
- Understanding the business specifications, converting requirements into technical solutions
- Supporting the Production Environment and the end-user
Your profile:
- Web technologies: Asp.NET MVC & Web Api, Typescript/JavaScript (jQuery, angular, react, knockout, )
- Strong experience in UX design (designing UI from a usability/user interaction point of view)
- Requirements engineering/Business Analysis skills
- Good oral/written communication, positive and proactive team attitude
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills, flexible on moving targets
- Good spoken and written English
