- 3 month contract, 2 days per week, £100 per day.

A Public Sector client of ours based in London requires a Web Developer to turn their website into one that reflects their innovative approach and business acumen. The Web Developer will provide a complementary set of skills to the Web Editor and will be working closely with the Web Editor, Director of Technology and Marketing team.

The key responsibilities of the Web Developer will be to;
• Work closely with the Marketing department, Web Editor to set up the technical infrastructure, templates and workflow.
• Challenge and push the institution to consider the full range of opportunities that web technologies present for marketing, communication, engagement and promotion.
• Establish a set of deliverables in conjunction with the Web Editor, BDM and Online Group in an advisory capacity.
To be considered for this opportunity as Web Developer you will be able to work two days per week initially on a 12 week contract with the potential to end plus;
• Experience of WordPress.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS and 'What you see is what you get' ie/ Dreamweaver.
• Web Design experience.
• Understanding of audience usability, user engagement and functionality.
• Experience with PHP, JavaScript and AJAX and working knowledge of databases such as MySQL.
• Understanding of web standards (W3C).

A day rate of £100 per day is on offer for this 12 week, 2 days per week contract based in London / SE London.
