Web Developer

We are looking for a smart, passionate and results-driven Web Guru with knowledge and skills in building highly interactive web interfaces. We need your experience and expertise to deliver marketing material in the most engaging and professional manner possible to target markets. We're looking for someone with superior user experience and graphic design skills along with strong technical knowledge in current web development technologies (CSS, DHTML, XML, JavaScript/Ajax, Flash/Actionscript and Web Services).

As the Web Developer in this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining online presence (marketing site and all online collateral). You will implement and maintain robust instrumentation on all online assets to enable detailed web analytics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Quickly create wireframes and interactive prototypes for review
- Build best of breed, cross browser compatible, cutting edge web interfaces
- Collaborate with business owners to solidify requirements
- Work on multiple projects concurrently while handling many different types of design requests
- Refine, maintain and enforce current design guidelines and strategies
- Adeptly handle changing priorities throughout a product life cycle
- Self-direct to drive tasks to completion
- Implement and maintain robust web analytics instrumentation on online assets

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2-4 years' experience developing highly interactive, Internet applications
- Expertise in CSS, JavaScript/AJAX, XML, Flash/Actionscript, Photoshop, web services and code level HTML essential
- Proven ability to work within ambiguous design constraints
- Ability to work well in teams and respect and welcome ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
- Solid understanding of web design principles and best use of current web technologies and scalable dynamic user interfaces
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

PREFERRED:

- Passion for solving complex and interesting problems
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Perl, SQL, Java and/or Linux a plus
- SEO/SEM experience

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration.
