Web Copywriter

You will be required to assist with the Department's website redevelopment project to deliver high quality content suitable for online publishing.

As the Web Copywriter, you will need to liaise with staff at all levels and meet tight timeframes.

Your DUTIES may include but will not be limited to:

* Work to enhance, edit and reformat Legacy content and newly created web copy to conform to web writing best practices and guidelines, including Australian Government web standards and guidelines
* Work closely with the content managers and various business areas to develop content for the new website
* Help set the voice and tone for the new website
* Ensure all content conforms to our search engine optimisation requirements
* Contribute to broader content development and content strategy for the new website

Ideally, you will have previous experience adhering to Australian Government web standards and guidelines in regards to writing web content.

Writing online content for Government websites is desirable but not necessary.
