WEB COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER - INTRANET - COUNCIL - WEBSITE - CONTENT - DIGITAL - TROUBLESHOOTING - COMMUNICATIONS - £15.00 PER HOUR

I am currently recruiting for a Web Communications Officer on behalf of a council based in London. This is a contract role that will be running for an initial period up to Christmas but may well be extended into next year.

The council are looking for this Web Communications Officer to come on board to help out with the day to day, business as usual side of the councils Website and Intranet in order to free up permanent members of staff to work on other time sensitive web based projects.

As Web Communications Officer, you will be tasked with the following (non exclusive)

- To ensure that the Council's website communicates effectively to local residents and stakeholders.
- To establish and maintain protocols and guidance for design and publication of web pages and e-forms.
- To work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that online information and service transactions meet corporate standards.
- Assist with the maintenance and development of technical infrastructure, including installing, testing and deploying new software and systems tools
