WEB APPLICATION DEVELOPER

3 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT, AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY

The Web Solutions Team acts as the main IT services supplier to the University of Leeds for Web developments. Projects currently range from redeveloping the corporate website, large scale application developments to smaller bespoke web sites or multimedia applications.

Web Solutions has close working relationships with the central Marketing and Communications function of the University and is taking a lead role in the development of the institutions web presence and visual identity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer with experience to undertake a wide range of development activities in a fast paced, customer focused service environment.

With proven development experience across a range of technologies including Microsoft .NET; ASP Web Forms; MVC (preferably v4 using Razor syntax); Entity Framework (preferably v5); Microsoft SQL Server and Visual Studio. You will have experience of taking websites through the development life cycle and ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers.

As a result of the essential and critical nature of the University's IT infrastructure and systems, the post holder must be prepared to work out of hours occasionally (including weekends).

UNIVERSITY GRADE 7 (£30,728 - £36,661 P.A.)
