Web Administrator

The position is to install and support COTS packaged software in Windows environment (the knowledge on how to install in Windows environment is required), this job is not to support Windows Servers or the Database (where support is provided by DBA). Working knowledge of relational database is required in order to create SQL/Oracle queries for troubleshooting purposes. This job is for the application administration, not development. Java knowledge is needed for issues troubleshooting.

SKILLS:
Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences domain expertise
Work experience with all aspects of project life cycle management and delivery (SDLC)
Experience with Windows operating systems
Strong SQL/Oracle database skills
Work experience with developing Java, PHP web based business applications. Experience with Java/J2EE, XML, JSP, JavaScript and Web Services.
Knowledge of web-based development tools with focus on Java (jsp, struts, etc.)
Knowledge of open standards (ie XML and LDAP)
Cognos knowledge is a plus
In-depth technical knowledge and the ability to maintain expertise in a rapidly changing, technically complex information technology environment
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels
