Web Administration Specialist - Switzerland

Administer, install, maintain, web, application, HTTP, HTML, WebSphere

The Role
* Administer, install and maintain diverse and constantly changing web application environments;
* Work with support and development teams to resolve problems and incidents during the entire project life cycle;
* Work with project deliverables and milestones;
* Interface with third party vendors, project managers and developers to solve business/functional web problems;
* Transfer knowledge proactively to colleagues and clients;

Minimum qualifications
* 3-5 years proven technical expertise in an IT role;
* BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering;
* Experience working with large diverse web application technologies (WebSphere Application Server, Apache HTTP, Tomcat);

Preferred qualifications
* In-depth knowledge of web and related technologies (HTTP, cookies/sessions, HTML, XML, JSON);
* Understanding of network identity management systems (SSO, LDAP, CA SiteMinder);
* Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TCP, Firewalls, Proxy Servers, DMZ);
* Working ability with common Scripting/programming languages (one or more of Java, Shell Scripting, C, C++, Python, and JavaScript);
* Experience working on.nix OS environments (AIX, Solaris, RHEL);
* Strong knowledge of the project life cycle;
