Vxworks Motion Control Programming

VXWORKS SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT

OVERVIEW

- Define required inputs, outputs, calibration adjustments, etc. in order to make a demonstration functional without ongoing maintenance.
- Learn to interface with external precision servos using RS-485 wires and a Real Time serial bus. Write or locate and learn necessary driver libraries.
- Learn to interface with adjacent hypervised cores via virtual NIC. Write or locate and learn necessary driver libraries.
- Develop motion control algorithms to translate commands from other cores into both pre-programmed (Core 0) and adaptive (Core 1) motion on the servos

EXPERIENCE

- Graduate Student, 0-4 years
- Experience in C programming
- Experience in physical system physics modelling
- Analytical skills relating to vibration analysis preferred
