VOIP IMS Ucaas Project Manager

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a skilled VOIP IMS Project manager for a large Telecomunications client. This is a 12 months contract with option to extend -the ideal consultant should be available to start work in 1-2 weeks maximum.

The client is interested in skills within Voice,VOIP,Telephony, UCAAS, Telecomucation Software inplementation projects, Deployment projects ideally for a mobile carrier.

A senior VOIP technical project manager with proven management experience within a Telecommunications operation/hosted/managed services provider & environment.

A local consultant is a Distinct advantage. The Ideal consultant will be either Prince 2 certified and accredited practioner or similar.

Extensive experience of managing projects involving software/application development and delivery.
Proven track record of Delivery throughout the Project Management and Software Development Lifecycle. Previous experience of working with external suppliers and offshore delivery partners. Have proven and demonstrable experience with working with the telecommunications industry. (managed serves/Hosted services)

VOIP SIP IMS UC UCAAS Diameter Expert level VoIP working knowledge (SIP, MGCP, RTP, SDP) Strong IP Networking experience Working knowledge of Legacy (Wireline/wireless) telephony systems Communications technology background desirable.

VoIP, telephony Example VoIP protocols:

SIP, MGCP, RTP Network technology background

Example of IP knowledge:

Routing, switching, IP Addressing, domains, Firewalls Excellent communications and presentation skills.

Excellent written and documentation skills. 3 -5 years project management experience minimum.

End to End project management experience. Demonstrates leadership in multi-company technical and planning discussions. Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
