Voice User Interface Designer

Yoh has a three (3+) month contract opportunity for a VOICE USER INTERFACE DESIGNER to join our client, a speech recognition company, in Bellevue, WA.

JOB OVERVIEW:

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the growing and emerging world of speech recognition technology as it relates to users. VUI experience is not required. If you've worked on mobile interfaces, have an interest in our technology, and the passion and drive to innovate, we'd love to talk with you!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with development and language teams to implement the user interactions that delight users and exceed customer expectations.
- Design and document Voice User Interface
- Construct System Flow Designs
- Establish guidelines for dialog management.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), linguistics, or equivalent work experience.
- Two to three (2 - 3) years of full project cycle software development experience in a user centered design role.
- Cross cultural, multi-lingual, and natural language application development experience a plus but not required.
- Working Knowledge of Speech Recognition Engines and Semantic Patterns.
- Solid organization, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience in Visio or comparable tool.
