Vmware, Windows Server & PC Support Engineer

We are looking for a VMWARE, WINDOWS SERVER & PC SUPPORT ENGINEER for one of our customer for a 3 - 6 month assignment near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

The suitable VMWARE, WINDOWS SERVER & PC SUPPORT ENGINEER for this role is some that has worked on SMALL TO MEDIUM SIZE BUSINESS CORPORATION, THIS IS NOT to build a data center or a part of a large enterprise.

TASKS

- THE VMWARE, WINDOWS SERVER & PC SUPPORT ENGINEER will be responsible for overall design and engineering of Windows Servers & clients, VMWare for systems hardware & software related to the infrastructure.
- Make a proposal based on customer's needs.
- Vendor management
- Must have excellent communication and relationship management skills - English

SKILLS

VMWARE

- Experience with vSphere
- Experience with ESXi hosts
- Experience with vMotoin
- Experience with VDI (View client)
- A candidate must know HP, IBM and DELL sever platform for ESXi hosts
- A candidate must know storage (iSCSI, NFS) design/setting/operation with ESXi hosts
- NetApp storage (NFS) experience is desirable.
- WINDOWS SERVER
- Experience with AD deployment in MID-RANGE AND SBC ENVIRONMENT.
- Experience with AD migration.
- Experience with Windows server upgrade
- A candidate must know group-policy deployment and operation
- Experience with deployment with enterprise CA is plus WINDOWS CLIENT (Windows 7,8,10)
- New desktop & laptop setup (mainly Dell, Lenovo)
- Desktop & laptop data migration
- A candidate must have strong trouble shoot skills

Additional skill (desirable)

Not mandatory. If a candidate has following skill/experience, it would be plus.

- Linux knowledge (Redhat, CentOS, etc)
- Cacti, Nagios
