Vmware Architect

Our client has an opportunity for an experienced VMWare architect to join their team for a 12 month contract.

You will have the following skills and be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Experience designing, implement and document a VMWare, vSphere, vCentre and vCloud environments
- Provide advice and assist with the detailed design of virtualised environments including networks and thin-client technologies (VMWare ThinApp)
- Ability to auto-configure new virtual environments with separation and isolation in mind
- You will have excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience with Network Technology: ie Routers, Firewalls, VLANs, VPNs
- Linux knowledge and experience
- Demonstrable IT Security knowledge (networks, VLANs, VPNs and their application to VMWare)
- Demonstrable VMWare security configuration and virtual network security/isolation and management
- Ideally you will hold suitable VMWare certifications
- You will be an Australian citizen
