Visual Designer

VISUAL DESIGNER - USER EXPERIENCE - ADOBE CREATIVE SUITE - USER CENTRED DESIGN - HTML - CSS - AGILE

Our well known Broadcast client is seeking a Visual designer who is able to create world class digital artwork/graphic design following the Design Standards and GEL guidelines

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver multiplatform responsive designs using user-centred design principles
- Able to talk through ideas confidently and pitch to key stakeholders
- Work with the UX designer to refine and bring wireframes to life
- Liaise with Front End developers to implement the design
- To take the lead in incorporating and promoting new design developments and technology
- To provide advice to editorial, content and product colleagues on UX design principles and capabilities and contribute to the forming and execution of the division's future design direction

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

- Formal degree in Digital/Graphic Design/Computer Science or demonstrable experience of visual and digital designs
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design for mobile, tablets and desktop for known brands
- Expert in user-centred design principles.
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience and knowledge of user experience best practices
- A working knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong team worker with ability to work within an Agile/Scrum framework
