VIDEO ON DEMAND TEST ENGINEER - BELGIUM - €400 P/D

My client is searching for an experienced VOD Test Engineer for a role based in Diepenbeek, Belgium. Candidates should have experience with VIDEO-ON-DEMAND, DVB, IPTV AND OVER-THE-TOP.

The role will involve VOD testing, gathering requirements and objectives and the attendance of client meetings. The role will also include Test Execution and Coordination of Test Execution. Experience of using Set-Top Boxes and DVB Monitoring Tools also required.

Travel will be involved to project sites in Munich, Switzerland and the Netherlands.

Role Requirements:

- Excellent knowledge of PULL VOD
-Asset management
-Billing
-Video server
-VOD application
- Technologies: MPEG, DVB SI, DSM-CC, DVB-C
- Experience in DIGITAL TV SET-TOP BOX TESTING
-Test Plan writing
-Test Execution (also using head-end equipment)
- Experience in Digital TV Head-end Testing
-Test Plan writing
-Testing new configurations and/or new components of digital TV head-ends
-Test Execution (using Set-Top Boxes and DVB monitoring tools)
-Bug Reporting and management
- Command of the English language essential
- Previous experience in Digital TV Broadcasting desirable
