Job Description Responsible for growing new business both organically and via new business wins, directing business and client relationships at strategic levels, and ensuring fiscal responsibility for both client budgets and their immediate operating group. Develop, promote, and expand my clients services to medical device, bio- pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical companies. Nation-wide account coverage. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned. This job description is intended as a guideline for responsibilities and activities likely to be required in this position. * Identifies, develops and directs new business development and presentations. * Identifies business opportunities for my clients network and actively proposes those solutions internally and to client. * Partners with my clients account leads to develop new opportunities and leads for strategic partnership offering * Assists President and Vice President of Operations in growth of existing accounts. * Delivers strong analytical, strategic and conceptual contributions to new program development. * Presents and closes new business presentations in an effective, persuasive manner. * Participates in professional or other relevant organizations to build awareness of the firm. Ideal Candidate : 1 An understanding and aptitude for strategic marketing, scientific/healthcare imperatives, digital solutions and education approaches 1 Evidence of extensive experience working in a comparable role developing new business in a lead agency competitor, with strong current industry contacts. 1 Ability to network to create new business opportunities with targeted companies. 1 Strong appreciation of our business capability including Strategic Publications , Training and , strategic pre-launch market shaping and promotional opportunities 1 Understanding of the drug development process gained through extensive personal experience in the pharmaceutical marketplace 1 Capability to understand clinical context and unmet medical need 1 Strong consultative selling skills, also including a broad range of marketing, sales and communication skills. 1 An enthusiasm for eMedia and its applicability 1 Ability to relate to key client personnel in a professional and credible fashion 1 Well developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to clients and to draft proposals. 1 Good interpersonal skills and well developed leadership skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and to follow up as appropriate. 1 Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues at all levels, across professional, operational and cultural boundaries 1 Good financial management skills 1 Excellent organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative
