Vice President - Market Development

Your responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and initiatives mainly (but not limited) in the Americas region, define goals and accountabilities and develop business plans
* Develop business plans in order to execute the overall corporate strategies and business objectives and track the progress of each of these initiatives to ensure deliveries on its business priorities
* Participate in developing the multi-year strategic direction and be responsible for project managing and delivering distinct strategic projects under loose supervision; conduct strategic and financial analyses and manage the deliverables of team-members from other business areas
* Design and facilitate planning sessions with divisional management teams to identify and prioritize strategies and tactics
* Ensure that the initiatives identified align with the corporate strategies and are integrated into the budgeting process; ensure that the business financial targets align to the corporate financial objectives
* Identify, communicate and escalate to functional leadership and management team, as appropriate, items requiring corporate attention and/or those that will meaningfully impact the business' ability to execute its strategic thrusts
* Work across the organization to ensure integration of initiatives, measurable targets and resource requirements; review progress against strategies, initiatives and goals, and facilitate decision-making to maximize progress on a regular basis
* Communicate broadly with persons inside and some outside the company in pursuit of strategic business information and new strategic initiatives.

Our requirements
* Minimum of 5-8 years of international strategy consulting experience with a top-tier management consulting firm required. Financial services experience, and knowledge of both the European and the U.S. derivatives market structures is necessary
* Deep knowledge of the exchange industry (technology, clearing, products development
* Experience working with senior leadership teams to identify and address strategic issues, frame key decisions and facilitate prioritization of initiatives
* Substantial experience working with senior executives across a variety of functions, and an ability to build relationships across wide variety of levels within an organization
* Strong project management skills, with detailed understanding of finance, operations and corporate strategy, and an ability to build relationships with cross functional teams
* Strong financial and spreadsheet analysis skills
