OUR DOWNTOWN TORONTO CLIENT IS SEEKING A SENIOR MANAGER OF VENDOR RELATIONS, FOR A 3 MONTH CONTRACT TO START.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- REVIEWING AND SUMMARIZING CONTRACT AGREEMENTS FOR DATA CENTRES AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS
- PARTNERING WITH ALL TEAMS WITH TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS TO ANALYZE AND EVALUATE VENDOR STRATEGIES
- COORDINATING WITH EXPENSE MANAGEMENT TO ANALYZE ALL FINANCIAL IMPACTS AND VENDOR GOVERNANCE TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT WITH EXISTING CONTRACTED SERVICES FOR ALL CONTRACT INITIATIVES
- LIAISING WITH CORPORATE SERVICES & LEGAL TO ENSURE CONTRACTUAL FRAMEWORK ACCURATELY REFLECTS NEGOTIATED AGREEMENT
- MANAGING THE END TO END CONTRACT PROCESS TO ENSURE AN EFFICIENT AND EFFECTIVE DELIVERY OF REQUIRED SERVICES
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
- PROVEN INDUSTRY IN CONTRACT MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION
- SOUND KNOWLEDGE OF THE HARDWARE, SOFTWARE AND TELECOM INDUSTRY LANDSCAPE
- STRONG ABILITY TO EVALUATE VENDOR LANDSCAPE TO ENSURE VIABLE REPLACEMENT SUPPLIERS ARE AVAILABLE WHILE ENSURING THE FINANCIAL BURDEN OF CHANGE WILL NOT LEAD TO RISK OF FINANCIAL EXPOSURE
- EXCELLENT CAPACITY TO INTERPRET FINANCIAL DATA AS IT APPLIES TO JUSTIFYING PROJECTS, EQUIPMENT OR STAFFING EXPENDITURES BY IDENTIFYING COST, BENEFIT, OPPORTUNITIES AND THREATS
- BACHELORS OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND/OR FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY
- EXPERIENCE IN FINANCE AND HOW IT RELATES TO CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- STRONG BACKGROUND IN CONTRACT ANALYSIS AND CONTRACT GOVERNANCE
- BUILD AND USE EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITHIN OWN DEPARTMENT AND ACROSS LINES, FUNCTIONAL AND GEOGRAPHIC REPORTING LINES
