Vendor Contracts Manager (Q7)

A new and exciting new contract opportunity exists for a Vendor Contracts Manager to this Queensland IT Solutions Organisation.

The Vendor Contracts Manager will be required for an initial 6 month contract and will be required to develop and maintain, on behalf of the Client, all commercial product and service supplier contracts supporting the external accounts.

You will also be required to ensure the commercial integrity and performance of these supplier contracts for compliance with contractual SLA deliverables, maximising efficiency and performance in the delivery process. 

FURTHER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE POSITION OF VENDOR CONTRACTS MANAGER WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING;

- Working as a key interface on a large complex customer account, managing Commercial Agreements and Addendum for our client's Consortium Venders.
- Work closely with supplier leads to ensure the right level of vendor interaction, as well as group requirements for Vendor Agreements and Addendum.
- Ownership of the overall governance and management of multiple Vendor Agreements and Addendum.
- Interface with the Contracts and Commercial Specialist internally and externally
- Manage the delivery of sub contractor agreement obligations for delivery of contracted
- Consolidation of standardised approach (where applicable) to ensure legal and commercial integrity of contracts.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING KEY EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS;

- Experience in contracts management and contract negotiation is essential.
- Worked in an IT related organisation and on IT related contracts
- Experience with all aspects of contract contract drafting, contract interpretation, preparing correspondence, drafting and updating procedural documentation.
